BGR does not make stuff up or rely on untrustworthy sources.
Really? What about BGR reporting that the 9630 was going to launch with 4.7.1. Then changing his story and saying it would launch with 4.6. Then changing it back again and saying 4.7.1. Which is still wrong. I'm not here to bash BGR, I don't have a problem with the guy. But he's definitely not always right, and many times he's plain and simply dead wrong.
Also, BGR isn't under any kind of disclosure agreement so he doesn't have to fear losing his job for giving out information. Knowing that you could lose your job and your wife and kids could be kicked out of the house, etc kind of puts a different perspective on things wouldn't you say.....

So CX, you are saying that you wont risk your job and means to support your family to satisfy some antsy people in these forums? Darn......

(note: this is complete sarcasm)

A little over a year ago my VZW rep told me the Curve was not coming till January. It came 5 weeks later, just after the return/exchange period was up on the 8830 he sold me. Reps know nothing more than two weeks in advance at most.

Oh everyone, stop kissing CX's ***. It gets so annoying all the time. He was plenty wrong about many things on the Storm before it was released. Yes, BGR is occasionally wrong, too. It happens.

They both provide us with occasionally right and wrong information. Take both for what it's worth.

you my friend were obviously not on these forums very often or didn't realize where cx was... or who he was

Because He hinted at correct things almost the entire time and often he couldn't comment based on HIS NDA but I was on these forums 24/7 for the storm launch and months before it and I don't ever recall a time he made a blatant lie..

I cant speak for the other "reliable" source but in all the time on crackberry I don't remember cx every giving false pre-release information...

I would like to see some quotes..

and next your going to say I kiss his **** well let me tell you something about IT if you refuse to deny that there is other incredible inteligent people out there you will know the same things 10 years from now that you know now..

yes this comment got me a little heated and I apologize..
