Ya sprint sent u the phone but rim sent them the phone first. They can't reopen all the boxes and go thru each one. So this wasn't sprints fault. It was the factory or whoever made the phones. They package them in the boxes. Not sprint! Sprint just ships them. Just like if somethin happens with a phone people think its the carriers fault. Sprint, vzw, tmo, at&t, alltel, or nextel do not make these phones. The manufacturer does. The carrier just sells them. Omg!!!!!! But they wanna call and cuss the carrier out for somethin that isn't really their fault.

Thats so awesome! Wonder if it would work on Sprint?

Its likely a RIM mistake; hard to blame Sprint for this.

This is the single most awesome cell phone story ever! Definitely keep that phone. Take some better pics and send to engadgetmobile/BGR. Hilarious!

It's activated!!! Its clearly a Sprint toue with Verizon's logo. I have to find something to take a picture of Sprint's software running with a Verizon Logo!!

Back with photos as soon as I track down my daughter's digicam

Yeah anyone that would jump on that is just stupid. There's no way sprint has any idea what's in those boxes. That's a RIM mistake

That is funny, perhaps Sprint realized they bungled the launch and sourced phones from Verizon?

That's awesome! Maybe Sprint and Verizon aren't telling us something like a possible merger since Sprint is lagging... JUST KIDDING!

VERIZON at the bottom of the Phone. Unfreak'n real. The worst part is I think the software on the phone is Sprint. I'm gonna try to activate the phone and see that happens. Pics taken with my Curve so sorry for the burriness.
OMG that's freaking hysterical!

With a factory pumping out phones I am sure that this can happen easily. Where was this phone made? Looks like either a quality control slipup or Sprint got desperate in acquiring Tours. I doubt Sprint would allow themselves to get embarrassed like that on purpose though.
