Crucial just confirmed on howardforums late July or August release HowardForums: Your Mobile Phone Community & Resource - The Official BlackBerry Niagara Pre-release Thread so now everyone can stop speculating on a may or June release, now all we need is a confirmation on wifi and we'll be set

He also confirmed that Verizon was testing 5.0.0.110 for the 9630 on the 14th.

I believe there was just an email sent out to vzw reps about a training class (not online course, actual hands on training class) betweek some date in may-june... i think the 22nd... dedicated solely to blackberries and want everyone completed in time for the launch of the next blackberry...

I do not want to discredit Crucial one bit, but nothing is confirmed until the device is officially announced and dated by Verizon for a specific launch day. Plus, we have been hearing that time frame for quite some time now. Kevin Byrne (the one who first reported an August release) is arguably more credible than Crucial. Both provide very valuable information, it's just that I think Kevin works pretty deep in Verizon, therefore giving him earlier access to information. Once again, no credit taken away form Crucial.

a lot of people were doubting kevin, but know that we've had two of the most credible sources confirm August i think it's safe to take their word for it, obviously the phone can get delayed but at least we know it's not going to be any sooner then late July
