| | Storm Owner's Lounge vs. Storm Owner's Off Topic ** note, it'll take a bit of time for the new sub forum to show up on all forum servers once created.. give it an hour **
When we set up all of the sub-forums within the Storm forum, we created this sticky note explaining the rules and what each forum is for. If you've never read it, check it out: http://forums.crackberry.com/f86/mus...-rules-155418/
In regards to the Storm Owner's Lounge, the intent was to have this conversation always stay Storm-related still, but be the place for topics that didn't quite fit into other areas to have life.... Storm Owner's Lounge - We realize that Storm owners like to hang around the Storm forums (waiting on that latest OS release of course!) and therefore like to post on everything Storm related. To help keep the other Storm forums on-track we have provided the Storm Owner's Lounge as a place where you can kick back to discuss other Storm topics. For example, you can use this forum for OS waiting rooms and wishlist threads or to share your Storm experiences. Keep mind discussion here should still be Storm-related. For off topic posts (politics, sports, etc.), please use our Off Topic Forums. Keep in mind that as the Lounge is more akin to our CrackBerry Cafe Social forums, that posts made here do not contribute to post count and are not searchable within the forum search.
While the CrackBerry Cafe's Off Topic forum is still of course open to all Storm users, we've gone ahead and created a new sub-forum within the Storm Owner's Lounge for Off Topic discussion. This way the main lounge can still be Storm-related, and the conversations that go off topic can be carried out here. Like the site's main off topic forum, the posts made here won't contribute to post count, nor will the threads be indexed in the vbulletin search. However, because it's a smaller/dedicated off-topic you should still be able to quickly find your threads by clicking through.
Use it well!

Folks,
I will begin slowly migrating topics from the lounge to off topic, don't be alarmed if your favorite topic gets moved, you just got to go down 1 more sub forum, AND I will leave a redirect. Please give me time to get the topics moved as I am quite busy these days. Thanks!

I created a Storm BBM group that is devoted to serious Storm discussion of all storm iterations. My profile pic is the group barcode so just scan it to join.
