I did mine about 2 hours ago, and it was still on there.

And yes the SMS works 100%.

So hard to believe something so simple took so dam long to do.

Ok I updated my phone yesterday. And now my boss is trying to do his and no update available. If he brings his phone to my house and plugs it into my computer will the update be available? Or does it search the web everytime?

No one at work even knows it was released, let alone why it was pulled.

DM 5.0

The boss is using DM 5.0. I started to update mine using DM 5.0 and then it crashed so I finished the update with my laptop running DM 4.7. So I don't think that is the problem.

Could it be that I am using BIS and the boss is using BES? Is the enterprise server blocking the update?

That could be the problem.

I am running BIS on my personal BB.

My work one is on the BES and when we want to do the update to our phone, we have to download the software and by pass the DM

"I hit notifications for software updates and the error comes up - you cannot update using the system as your device is currenty activated on blackberry enterprise server or blackberry professional software

So i guess we need to find the "raw" update, just the file not through DM.
I have updated the bosses phone to the nextel OS using the method of installing the update to PC and then updating the BB, so i know it can be done.
Anyone out there know where to look?
