This one's tough. While I think the Bold is phone of the year, the Storm certainly caused the most reaction and brought the CB servers to it's knees.

I voted for the 8900. I always though that this phone was going to be a winner from day one. When I bought an unlocked one, I was not disapointed.
This phone just worked right out of the box and has carried on doing so ever since.
True it does not have 3G but for me, this is not an issue. What was far more importabt to me is the 256Mb internal memory - all usable for apps and data, a Media Card that is removable without removing the battery or need a pair of pliers like the Bold.
It also has a superb keyboard which was a requirement for me.
Best of all, there have not been a flood of OS releases indicating massive software problems with the phone.

I'd most likely vote for the 8900-
Except I haven't tried it out yet
Out of all the other BB's though, I think the Bold Shines.

| | I haven't tried it either! Just from reading all the threads on it, gaining a lot of knowledge on it and so forth. This is the one and only phone I would stand in line for!

No Doubt It'll be amazing-
It's like a Smaller Bold with a Nicer Camera, running on RIMs already Perfected EDGE.
Can't be bad, Can't go Wrong.
But to keep it Legit, I'll only Consider Voting for the Devices I've Used

Come on, gotta vote for Storm just because of what it has done for this site. See how many people are logged in at a time like 10K!!!!! and over 500,000 members (i think 600k now) thanks to the storm for sure.
cant give that credit to the bold, because things didnt go crazy till the storm got here. just my observation.

I'm with Pete....voted for the 8900. It's the only one I've owned, so I'm biased, although I've played with friends' Storms & Bolds and both have their drawbacks in both Soft/Hardware....so far, for me at least, the 8900 really hasn't!

I went Storm because even though I don't have one, I think it's the one that's the biggest departure from the BB standard, and it has a lot of potential. It just needs some more work, that's all.
