Just to clarify this is not to be used in conjunction with any other fix that is out there.

Currently using the dime trick. Might try the guitar pick if I have a thick one somewhere, and maybe the SIM card too if I find a spare.
Thanks!

Currently I am not travelling overseas right now and my provider is still verizon so I do not need the SIM card. Just one less thing that can cause me a headache.

This is by far the BEST "fix" I've tried. It is wonderful.
Thanks!

Honestly I am surprised that it hasn't been spoken of previously. It doesn't cost anything and it keeps the original SIM with the phone for when the phone needs to be unlocked.

I thought the same thing and thought he must have dented something to get it to work, but maybe the space is different for each storm which wold make sense with different people having different screen issues.

This trick was mentioned several times before...I actually read about it on here in feb (or around that time). I think its in the tips and trcks forum. I had to stop using it bc my batt door looked like it was buckling. It worked well though.

I did leave the sim out to prevent the message u get while rebooting.

-All phones have a different gap needed to fill.
-Most "quick" fix's fall out when you need to do a battery pull.

WHAT I DID on my first phone.

-Took off my battery door and bent it lightly to aid pressure in the middle.
-Cut a bunch of .75"x.75" squares of black electrical tape and added them one by one to the battery door untill the screen clicked exactly how I wanted.

Now every time I pull the battery I dont have to worry about either the card falling out or having to always explain why my phone is ghetto.
