so before i read the battery pull - i had dropped to 50.1megs of memory...completed pk's list - back up to 54.7 esepcially since my mem cleaning was DISABLED as a default...just did a batt pull - 5min to reboot - checking now.

54.3 Mgs at the moment..seems more stable and faster.

Yes you MAY need to unlock again, but first try the steps in this thread by pltaylor (our latest Genius of Geniuses), and ask him for help, he monitors the thread....

That where I took my info from. He seemed to be caught up in others at the time of my post so I have been waiting for his response. Im not worried about it being unlocked, once that is done I have read you dont have to do that anymore. It was more or less if you had any knowledge on getting the browser to work without having to go through the motions of his thread.

Ok try this, it's a LONG shot, turn off the radio and then turn it back on, It's under Setup and Manage Connections.

Thank you, that worked. I deleted it then re-added it and now I can receive emails from myself through Outlook on my pc.

Default MMS...network provider...ahhhhh?

so...i have a storm hooked up to us cellular cdma network. EVERYTHING works perfectly except...i can not send or receive mms messages. I dont have a service book for it either. i tried re-registering my phone...nothing. tried diagnostics...nada. i am operating on .75 OS. i had a blackberry 8330 with them before the storm and transferred and backed that one up to put the service books and such on the storm. i have to bb plan and edited the cdma settings to mimick that of one from uscc. what can i do to fix this? also, my mobile network still displays verizon. when i do a prl update is says that it is with us cellular. why? i have a friend who hooked one up to att and her phone displays that it is on att network.

I don't know off hand, BUT I do know who can help you, his name is pltaylor and he wrote the tutorials for getting the Storm to work on ATT & Tmobile. He's a phone hacker extrodinair! Go to one of those 2 threads in the Storm How Too Forum, and post the question there and he will answer you.

A useful function of the UltraClip and Vaja Balance case configuration is that you can put your Storm on your desk, with the screen at roughly 70 degrees to the desktop, in a horizontal orientation. Easy to read and scroll.

I ran into this problem after the BIS 2.6 upgrade last weekend. I ended up having to call VZW and get them to transfer me to the BB level 2 support folks. They deleted and re-added my vzw.blackberry.net account for me. Make sure you get BB support to do this on your BIS account for you because if you try to delete your blackberry.net account yourself through the BIS website, you will have to choose a different address when you recreate it. For some reason, when you delete it, it stays around in the system so if you try to add the same address after you delete it, it will tell you that address is already taken.
