Well I dont know how this is supposed to help because I did all this and it STILL doesn't show up. (I went from .113 < .141 and I wanna go BACK to .113.

Frustrated & Tired, help would be nice.

Did you uninstall .141 from your computer?

Default Upgraded OS and have ?

Upgraded to OS .122. Played with it for a while and went back into DM to see how it looked. Saw the .122 file along with the .65 & .75. Before I added the .122 if remember see alot more in the Application Loader section that what shows up now with the .122. So I looked through CB and didn't find anything relevant. Deleted DM and reinstalled. Now I don't see the .122 and the short list of applications is still there. Question was I hallucinating before, how can I get the .122 back on my list, and did I screw up by deleting and reinstalling DM. By the way, yes, I'm a new guy to all this. Phone works fine though.

Default n00b post alert!

So, I am a week into using my Storm (.75) and I am still learning its little quirks and intracacies. I do still love it, and have found the memory tips and tricks from the forums to kick ***. What I am wondering is what are the advantages of using leaked OS updates over the "official" releases? Is there somewhere I overlooked regarding the descriptions of each OS leaks or betas? Thanks in advance for your patience and help.

Please read over and follow step by step how to upgrade/downgrade your OS. You may need to wipe with JL_Cmdr and stet over. The hybrid is something that needs to go over a base OS, you cannot install it by itself. Check out Lyricidal's hybrid, its .141/5.0.

Ahhhhh thank you very much for the time and effort you put into this guide, it definitely made me grow a set and jump into upgrading. Luckily for me it worked without a hitch, and I'm very happy with the end results. I'm wondering if there should be some kind of note about the more commonly used hybrids for people to take a look at. I know when I upgraded, lyricidal posts, and some others were extremely helpful. Thanks again!

I am glad all went good. I wish more people would be like you and do the research and follow directions. As far as hybrids, you probably won't see any thread referring to them as they are all different and too many of them. Hybrids basically change files in the OS java folders. Also hybrids are not recommended by many people.

There is a stickied thread that's got all the links. Good luck.
