Default What's the most solid, cheap gps

Just as the title says, I want a reliable gps... The one on the iphone is nice. Does the storm have a similar one?

Can't beat Garmin. I have tried many others and it is the best. Plus it is only a one time fee and if you change phones they will switch one time for free. Well worth the $100.

VZ Navigator is the next best one, but it is a monthly fee...that sucks!

Not really a GPS, but Google Maps is free and I have never had a problem with it leading me in the wrong direction (figuratively and literally).

For me, Garmin Mobile is the best thing out there.

Neither is $100, but I thought VZ Navigator was $5 a month.

You can actually get it for $80, but at least it's just a one time cost. after you do the $120/year and you want it for that 13th month, guess what? VZNav wants another $10.

I've tried them all, Garmin Mobile blows them all away. Sure it costs some dough, but as they say, you get what you pay for. VZNav is very nice, but it's just tossing away money each month. You can actually get Garmin Mobile for $75, and under $70 (pays for itself after only 7 months of VZNav:

Handango has promotion for 25% off for purchase of $75 or more - enter code SUMMER25, drops price of the Garmin Mobile to $74.99. There's an additional 7% cashback available at several hot deals sites, drops price to just under $70.

+1 for amAze gps. Vocal turn by turn and works well.
Not quite as refined as Garmin but gets the job done.
I was going to buy Garmin, but with Storm 2 coming soon, hopefully
I decided to hold off. Plus amAze is free.

I really don't care for Amaze. It does the job, but that's all it does. It's not optimized for the Storm, and it just feels clunky to me.
