You should see a little flash program launch with the station updater, from your sig, I take it you have a runtime environment installed, maybe that interferes with the app showing, all it is is a progress bar.
If it's showing in task manager, then obviously it's launching, try 1 and keep in mind it takes about 15 minute per cached station to update the first time, let it go and see if in fact it does do it.

Also, I did have to grant slacker.synclauncher.exe permission to launch and run with my av/firewall program.

Ok, Why is it while using the BB speakers there is no sound until I hit the volume button? Even when the song ends and the next one begins I have to hit the volume button to hear it?

Is the program built with the use of headphones in mind?

And the songs still end short.

I thought it was mentioned the links above were for the Storm, yes?

I wonder if you pay if the song is complete.
I have the same problem, no sound until I raise or lower the volume for each song. Songs end early too. Sometimes songs are skipped altogether. This app shows promise but it's a bit incompatible at the moment.

I (we) have to remember that the official "STORM" version is not out yet, we are using another phones version.

Hello all,

I downloaded slacker, very nice program, just one problem I've had is, while using bluetooth headset with slacker I receive a call, after the call is done goes back to slacker and crashes, just wanted this out their to see if any others where having this problem, I know this isn't made for the storm so it may be a bug with that. I'm running .86 os.

I downloaded the file to my desktop and tried installing it to my BB by dragging the install .jad file into the BB Device Memory and I keep getting a "Download Failed" message "907 Invalid COD File not Found." If I put the file into the Desktop Manager it wont recognize the file, so how do I install this?

The online link at Slacker.com wont install either, it just keeps a loading screen up.

Thanks

Wait, is this like Radio companion where you can play local radio stations? I tried and it seems like a fake XM, I want to play 92.3 in NY, and possibly 100.3 and such, but radio companion never did so its not important

Yeah definitely. These are known issues with the Storm, and the developer is working diligently to get a version out for us "Storm Chasers" to use. It's still an AMAZING app. Almost makes my ipod obsolete on car trips!

The cache issue was due to proxy and firewall at work. Caching worked fine at home.

I figured it out.... versions .75 and .76 have that sound mute problem and starting with .83 on up it works fine but still skips last 10 seconds of song..>So I'm running .83 right now just for my slacker..>Love it even in its half finished state.
