Default Slacker App - No storm Luv ..Yet

Try to download it and they say it will be available soon... grrr

I have been waiting for this app for months, guess a little longer won't kill me.

Anyone able to figure out a way to download it and try it in compatibility mode?

I'm trying to figure it out right now but people on the Slacker forums claim to have it working.

Yeah, I read the same thing, can someone post an OTA link for the version that works on the storm?

Sweet it works!!

I've never used it before so I'm not sure if it's missing anything or even how to fully use it, but it's working on my storm.

"The Storm is completely different than the rest of the BlackBerries. We are working on a version, and we don't want to release something that isn't ready on the Storm. Just because it might 'Work' doesn't mean it won't crash, do bad things, etc. We are working on a version already, it's just that with the touch screen part of it, we have to change things up. We were more interested in getting the app out, and working on the largest selection of BlackBerry phones first, and then getting it ported to the Storm.

It is coming guys.... I own a Storm and I'm also looking forward to the release.

Best regards,

This was posted on the Slackware forum. In the mean time this version seems to be working for me and others.

Works great. There is definitely an opportunity to jazz up the interface with multi-touch gestures and so I bet that's what they are working on for the "official" storm version. But so far it is working very well on my Storm, especially after I disabled compatibility mode.
