I noticed, in QL options, a setting at the bottom of the list for the flicker problem. On mine, the box is checked to enable flicker fix. Maybe check/uncheck that to see what happens.

this faqs/problems page format looks strangely similar to a faqs/problems page ive seen somewhere around here

Ok I know that there is an issue with adding applications through the add items menu, but there has been mention of recognized apps within ql. So I'm going to assume that people are adding alps to their ql menus. How do I do that? I have tried everything I can think of to add a few aps and have failed (including opening the app and then trying to add it). What am I missing?

You're not alone. Several people including myself have posed the question.

EDIT: Cheetah answered my question abt this in another thread. He said it should detect all apps installed, including newly added ones. There may be exceptions to that rule, like password keeper, which he is going to add. If you can't add an app, let him know.

I'm going to say not a QL problem. There is no code in QL to listen to or disobey orientation commands or anything like that. Maybe that app doesn't work on popup menus. Did you try it with QL's options screen. That screen is a full screen like most apps. try that.

2.0 works great with StopTilt. Also don't have to re do settings every time I do a battery pull. I guess you get what you pay for.

This may be a bug. After adding several contacts to QL 2.0 I began to edit who they displayed in the pull down. "Call Jon Cell" from "Call John Dough" worked fine. When I tried to edit "Call Donna Johnson" to "Call Donna Cell" I got a "field is full" eror message as soon as I typed the "e" in Cell. I tried this with several other Call entries and it did the same thing. It will take anything but "Cell". I am using suretype so the Ce first comes up as "Cr" which led me to thing that maybe it thinks that is a character reference. "Call Donna Mobile" works fine and that is obviouly two characters longer so the field can't really be full.

Otherwise QL 2.0 seems to be working very well with .148. The new features are great.

I have just noticed that it is version 1.4 through App World....such of a *****! I will have to see if I can get a refund and purchase it through crackberry.com
