When you and everyone else originally purchased this application, there was numerous bugs upon purchase. But every bug fix "updates" thereafter were completely free. I believe this update costs what it costs because it includes numerous functionality and cosmetic upgrades. I am not a developer myself, but I assume that if one were to wait until every single bug was fixed it would take a awhile. Besides, dmg has taken in to account all the things that we appreciative people have asked for, so give him a break and pay the dollar.

OK back to my problem. When browsing on the phone it just locks up and the hour glass keeps spinning making me pull the battery. Also it seems really slow. After I delete it everything is good. The only apps I have are bbscanner, meterberry, berrybuzz, Viigo(not running in background), running Lyriciadal 6.7 with over 50mb to spare, no theme running either. 3.9 worked just fine but now with 4.04 my phone just sucks. Permissions set to allow and several battery pulls after installing it.
Edit: Just tried again and it won't even load a page in the browser it just keeps spinning and saying loading. Going to start to erase other apps even though I shouldn't have to since it was working fine before the update. Also all the people that say get over it because it was only a dollar are jerks. It may only be a dollar but now it doesn"t even work for me. So do me a favor and take off your *** hat every once and a while you will feel better. Same goes for those that always have to say "user error" and then a smiley face. Your just as bad if not worse than the others and definitely not helpful.

Thanks | One thing that bugs me greatly. When the option to enable when removed from holster is enabled, it stops playback of both Slacker and the Media Player, regardless if the options to turn StormSlider off while those are running is enabled or not. If StormSlider uses up the audio channel when initialized, you should make it like this: If enable the "click" is set to off, disable the ability to use the audio channel.

Deleted apps and still the same, the browser is screwed when I have SS installed. As for 4.2 or 3 I was on vacation and wasn't allowed to play with it (wifes orders). I just don't get it everything else works fine with it but the browser refuses to work properly if I do get a page to load it takes 3 or more minutes.

Also it's impossible to fix every bug on a large scale application. Even multi-billion dollar companies release buggy software. You can only test it so much with the beta testers you have (I had 20 beta testers working side by side with me). Even with 20 of them though they can't simulate every phone that is running this application.
3rd party apps sometimes play a roll, application memory plays a roll, options / settings / permissions all play a roll. I think the swearing is a little uncalled for. When there is indeed a bug found I usually release a patch / new version of the application with in a few hours of being notified about the bug.
I'm sorry you're seeing an issue. The nicer you are though the more helpful other users (including myself) will be. | The slide bar is there. But it does not slide. This app has been around for a while. I was one of the first to download the free version (had little functionality) a few months back. I deleted it a long time ago and installed pattern lock. I bought it this morning, thinking that with beta testing and all the time that has gone by the developer has had ample opportunity to address major bugs. To my disaapointment, that has not been the case. you're right every app has some bugs. But major bugs, causing the app to freeze is not acceptable. For example, Windows has some bugs, but imagine if it froze every time you booted up the OS. Would you pay for an app like that?
I only have a couple of 3rd party apps, that for most part do not run in the background (the app is closed). I am not new to BB, and have had one for at least 10 years that I can remember. I checked App permissions, I uninstalled and re-installed the app, I reset the device and pulled the battery a couple of times, but the same thing would happen over and over.
Read through the 500+ pages of this thread, and listen to all the bugs that people are complaining about. I am just tired of apps like this that are sold with little consideration given to sufficient testing. Any ways I am done with this app, and don't care about the 2.99. I just re-installed patternlock. Good luck to you.

I got the pay for version, v.4 but was disappointed there is no icon. Any way you can create an icon. I like having the icon in a hotspot and being able to select it if i want to.

The only time it occurred is when the click sound is enabled and I tried to unlock it but you said the problem is with removing from the holster in your post.
