New App: StormSlider (iPhone style lock / unlock)

I doubt if there's anything that can be done about this- I downloaded Softpull (BTW- Nice App) and schedule my 'soft pull' for 3 PM each day. Storm Slider keeps this from running until I do the unlock.

I still notice something screwy with getting a normal, portrait KB when I'm on the phone. I some how think I have bad timing when I'm going to use the phone keypad about the sametime the slider is kicking in.

Having a noise on swipe like the iPhone would be cool, but is it worth it? Same goes for changing background. Is it worth it?

For the most part all I really want is for the time to update on power up. Everything else is gravy.

Thanks a ton for you work on this. I may try simple weather next.

Kurant - More then likely your BES is blocking your input simulation. This is a common practice for BES users

Marcuswyse - what problem are you having?

Thanks Drift! Wow that's been a while. I'm still on 3.7.7. Haven't had any problems so I really don't need an update. Just don't want to miss out on any cool new features he may have up his sleeve.

I am not sure if it should or not, but I'm discovering that when using Storm Slider that the Auto Off does not work. Auto On does work fine, but as indicated before time does not update on power up. It still shows the time of my manual power down.

I have a slight problem. After awhile my storm will no longer lock. I hit the lock button, screen dims out then just pops back up but still unlocked. A battery pull does fix this but I do not like doing one daily. Any help would be appreciated.

Make sure that you are using the latest version (3.7.9) of SS. Also this problem sometimes results from your app memory getting too low. Was there a message anytime before this happening saying "Low Memory Mode?"

We need more information to help you. Were you trying to lock it on dim, using the lock button, while on a call, etc?
