New App: StormSlider (iPhone style lock / unlock) - Page 318

I was using Stormslider and really liked it. I had no problems at all until I updated to the new version last week and now whenever the slider comes up it is being blocked by the keypad and I CAN'T unlock it. I had to uninstall it but since I purchased the paid version, I would like to use it but can someone please help with this problem. Thanks in advance.

Go into options - applications and make sure its not programmed to open up in conversion mode

you have to disable compatibility mode...go to Options --> Advanced Options --> Applications --> StormSlider (highlight it) then click on the BB menu key then "Disable Compatibility Mode" and it should be fine now

Thanks LennyUK for your response. I went to options-applications StormSlider but I did not see anything that said conversion mode. I did have my keyboard set to open in full screen in portrait mode and changed it to multitap and it seems to corrected the problem. Seems like full screen keyboard was not compatable with StormSlide in portrait mode.

I original disabled compatability mode and it still did not work but it looks like setting it not to open in full keyboard in portrait mode is working. Don't know how or why but it is......

The only issue I've got so far is the clock not being correct on power up. I will do the 'power down' on the menu and when it comes back up I've got SS enabled and the time refects the approximate time it was powered down. It doesn't seem to matter if it's the scheduled power down or not. Either way......., great app and I couldn't be more happy.

I believe so... but no official word on the next update. I think he's tinkering with it now.

Low Memory Mode??

Has anyone else seen "Low Memory Mode" on the slider screen??
I check my memory and I have

19.4MB App memory
874.1MB Device Memory
1.4GB Media Card

Should it be saying Low Memory Mode on the slider screen like this?

So my curiosity finally got the best of me and I bought patternlock. Damn that is a nice piece of software. Gonna roll with that for now until dmg adds the option to change the wallpaper and gets the portrait lock figured out. Its just a much snappier and smoother app right now. But ill be back!

when ur phone goes around below 20mb, goes into low memory mode...tries to save some of the memory by disabling the text animation, etc
