I just finished testing it using the settings you tried to use Mr.L09 and each one works for me. I first tested it by setting ever setting to no except for dim. Set QuickPull to do a scheduled reset and set the alarm clock to go off 4 minutes after the reset. Then disabled unlocked the stormslider and connected the device to charge. The QuickPull prompt came on the screen and restarted. Then the device booted back up and my alarm went off 2 minutes after the restart. I next tried it with the same settings but with the clock app open instead. The same results appeared. I can't figure out why it's not working for you Mr.L09.

Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com | When you have it charging, do you have it enter bedside mode or do you have it just running the clock app?

I am really getting sick of the lack of updates now for this app!!! DMG let us, all the people who have paid for your rent, know WTF is happening with this app. There were some very promising things you had planned for it, suggestions from us, that you have yet to fix from 3.8. We deserve better, your customer service is lacking big time. If your gonna take your money at least let us feel like we are getting a good product. You have a competitor out there know and for what i hear it is better, he is charging more but if its a better product its worth it. Not to mention he will be earning a LOT more cash than you.

Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com | I even tried to run it with a scheduled reset and alarm while in bedside mode and it worked too. It's probably something real simple that is being missed.

| | Downloaded and had for a week....
Few things-
Is there a way I can tell which version I'm using? I downloaded 5/10 so I'm guessing I've got the latest and greatest.
I've noticed the clock doesn't always update, but I have not pinned down exact details. I think it may have to do with being on the charger. I also use the auto off/on feature that I think may play a part in this. If interested I will try and track down
Sometimes I have to push harder to swipe than other times. I think it may be due to device inactivity or it could just be me/my device.
I have it set to 'lock on phone' which leads to some occasional odd things when I need use of the keypad. Instead of getting the keypad I will get sure type/multi-tap keyboard up. I think any issues here are shortcomings as it relates to the device. EDIT: Or......., is there a way to set a delay before the app kicks in while on a call? I think maybe my weird issues are related to pressing the keypad area of the screen AFTER the app has enabled itself.
All-in-all a great app. I'm new to this whole smart phone thing so I figure some of my experiences are user error.
dmg- thanks for doing this for us.

dmg- thanks for doing this for us. | You can check which version you have by going to Options> Advanced Options> Applications and look for Storm Slider in the list. The swipe does seem to act up every once in a while when the device is inactive but ends up fixing itself. I have only seen this happen a couple times. I haven't seen the keyboard problem you suggest but that doesn't mean it's not from the app. To set a delay for the app while on a call, go to Options> Storm Slider Options and set Seconds to Wait under phone options to what you want.

I've been having some issues with StormSlider and BerryPopUp over the last few days. I just got Berry PopUp and now, if I get an email/text while the phone is locked I slide the slider, then it sticks at the end for 30+ seconds before it finally unlocks.

Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com | That was too easy. I should have caught that before showing my true ignorance.
I may try and track down the 'clock not updating' thing because I believe I can duplicate.

Only thing I wish The paid version had is a LOCK ICON like the free ver..I know all you have to do is hit the lock button on top of the phone, but it is just to slow to respond.. I would just prefer a Icon to push.

| | Problem after installing StormSlider
I installed Stormslider yesterday afternoon and everything seemed to be working fine. Until evening. Suddenly all my messaging applications have disappeared. Any application which uses data is missing from the main menu. Messages, Email boxes, Facebook, Instant Messaging (inside is empty), etc. But I can see emails being received. On top of the screen it shows 6 New emails, 2 new facebook requests. But none of the applications are shown in the main menu. Even if I do a battery pull (how many ever times), it shows the error "Uncaught Exception: java.lang.NullPointerException"
I have to click OK some 6 or 7 times to get to the home screen.
PLS HELP!! Urgent!

See above for alarm fix. 3.8 was pulled due to major bugs. It was pulled until DMG can get them fixed. | Thats a PIA work around not a fix....
