Google Maps 3.2 on 5.0 OS Storm

Hey guys, using BigVDawgy's 4.7 JAD that was posted on zippyshare, here is a working OTA link for the 3.2 version, that will work on 5.0 Storms!

it seems to still be the 3.0.2 version?? trying again, maybe I missed something.

I guess I'll delete the old one instead of installing over it this time, see if that does the trick

It's the new one. not much different visually from the older version. But when installing it should read 3.2

works now. Actually said "replace 3.2.0 w/ 3.2.0?"

definitely was 3.0.2 when running before installing over a second time, but hey, works now.

For those who download the 'wrong' version from m.google.com, you have to delete that one before downloading this one

Ok so now that we've got it working what can we pick apart and ***** about?

I love it. It's great.

The Search feature gave an option for Categories to choose from which then show up as a Layer on the map and in your list of Layers. I can't find a way to remove these searches from the list of Layers and I also can't access the Categories feature of Search anymore only "Recent Searches". Not a big deal but would like to be able to clean things up a bit. I'm just like that.

Works on Telus! Not sure if its the new google maps or the 5.0.323 or both, but it now works on Telus without modifying phone settings!

None of the 1000m proximity rubbish either, showing within 3m.

Although most of the improvements are non-UI, I am loving the new blue icon and how fast this version scrolls, It is much closer to the iphone version now. I have no doubt this will be amazing on the 9550 while using wi-fi to load the maps faster.
