[facebook app] Not being notified on link comments

I get notified whenever there's a comment made in status updates I've commented in, but I'm not getting notified when someone comments on a link I've posted.

Is this standard or have I overlooked a setting in my fb app?

Are you getting these comments sent to your email? or are they not showing up there either? if not then you have to go in to facebook settings on the site and select to have the comments emailed to you.

I am getting the notifications in my email, but even if I wasn't, I'm not sure I don't understand why this would effect the facebook application on my BlackBerry.

The Facebook app on your BlackBerry takes the email that you receive and turns it into a notification in the app. The email is not pushed to your device when this happens.

Thanks for the explanation. That's really good to know. And, it makes this all that odder, since as I stated, I am getting the notifications for comments to "links" in my email.

I am having the same problem. The notifications are in my email but not going to my phone. And as you said only for notifications in links

So you're not getting the email notifications for links on your BlackBerry? They're being left on the email server?

That is correct. Everything comes up fine to the app but comments on links.
Running 9530 on VZW with 5.0.0.323 FAcebook 1.7.0.18

There is a new version of Facebook. Did you guys try that. I don't post links so I can't really comment if the update fixed the issue
