so, there is not actual streaming from the blackberry storm at the moment, right? only the 15sec spots? Will the end goal be streaming from the phone?

Yes, they're working on it.

Getting the hang of it. When I use the software, should I see it LIVE on the site if I'm watching? or does it just upload the video?

No technical problems really. When the title is entered, there should be a save button or some way to indicate the user has successfully made the changes. I realized that the back/escape button works after the text is entered.

Great idea. Although until it gets true live streaming I'm not sure if I'm going to like it or not. Also, it seriously screwed up my screen with stuff jumping around all over the place. Had to do a battery pull to fix it. I can't wait to see an updated version.

Oh... and I would LOVE an Exit option to the program. How the **** can it not have one?

Extremely Frustrating on this version 0.1.8 - have to do a battery pull to close the app. Also, brings the storm to a point of being almost unusable even if it is just running by itself...

Used v0.1.8 and now am on v0.1.11 with the latter being way better. I can now actually get prerecorded videos to upload and the lockups seem to be gone. However, when I attach the Facebook, sometimes an uploaded stream or prerecorded video posts 2-3 times on my wall and in my video folder. I even had one video sent to the qik site which I did not share to Facebook wind up on my Facebook wall - very strange. I see great potential for this app and hope it continues to improve on the Storm. Sadly as others have reported, it does kill battery life but I suspect that is just the continuous upload/download and not the app itself. In any event, I like it and hope newer builds emerge sooner than later as I am very eager to try them. Anyone have any idea what the APN settings are for? I am on Verizon Wireless and blank the app works - just curious what that is.

excellent concept
pretty self-explanatory once downloaded
user-friendly

still a little laggy

have not attempted the share aspect of it so cannot speak to that

i really like how you can individually set videos for public or private once uploaded, you can set it to automatically upload or only once you request it to also

if it becomes capable of streaming live, it will be absolutely outstanding but as it is it is excellent for an alpha release

the version that I used previous to this streamed it live about 10-15 seconds behind..
