anything that accesses the GPS or the data connection all the time like google maps, viigo, etc.

+1 for os .148. weather bug and viigo are battery drainers.

agreed. I never have had an app drain my battery anywhere close to how badly beejive did it. I swear beejive ate 3-5% of my battery every half hour...and i have the 2600 MAh extended battery. With BJ running my phone might last 10 hours, might.

Switched to IM+, and it's night and day. Battery life is EXCELLANT

Cool No problem with battery life with .148

I've read several posts complaining of battery life issues with .148, but I've had mine installed since last Sunday and thus far, according to MeterBerry, I average around 1.5% to 2.5% per hour, with moderate + usage. I have no complaints whatsoever about it.

I'm not even sure what app to claim is the worst, I guess it would be video and/or music apps, which obviously are putting a continuous strain on the battery. GPS running does only a little bit, I've got mine on for Google Maps and that usage is covered in the above referenced averages.

Weatherbug was my biggest battery drainer!! I guess it's just easier to look out the window and see the weather...hmmm who would have guessed it!!!
