Should I get the storm or wait for the storm 2??

I can get a storm 1 for 150 dollars off my friend- brand new... should i just get it and not get the storm 2 or should i wait? I have to let him know tonight.

We still don't know when the storm 2 is coming out other than educated guesses. RIM is keeping a pretty tight seal on that one. It all depends on whether you enjoy what the storm offers. Is there a way you can test it out? Maybe head into a store and play with one for a bit to see if it is the direction you want to go. Nothin worse than buying a phone you dont like

I'd wait, not necessarily because rim could announce a date at any time but because buying it off your friend doesn't get you the warranty. Not shooting the phone down just making sure if something goes wrong with the hardware you can get it replaced free

Not sure when the Storm 2 will really be making it's debut... You could be waiting a long time. Niether VzW nor RiM have a reputation for being timely.

could be waiting a while but the way verizon and rim wait until a month or two before the date I'd say it wont be long after announcement that it will drop. the tour just a few weeks before and the storm a month or so. Id still bank on november with the start of the holiday shopping season
