Problem w/ VZ Navigator after OS 5.328

Ok this isn't a HUGE deal but it does kinda irritate me. I've searched all around the storm forum/s and have found no mention of this. I've got a 9530 that I updated to(as the topic says) 5.0.0.328(also on verizon obviously). And I love most of the upgrade EXCEPT the weird thing the navigator is doing now(and one other thing). Usually, when I use it... I've got it plugged into my tape adapter for my radio in my car, so that I can hear the directions through my speakers. Its usually pretty sweet. But since the upgrade, when the talk feature begins to give my directions, it begins in an ascending volume. This causes a problem because I can't hear the first part of the directions. Its just really crappy because by the time its nicely audible its already at the 4th or 5th word. Anyone else have this issue?

I know what you're talking about and honestly I think its an added feature. It happens with my music too. I think its in place for if you're playing media and it gets interrupted with a message notifier, it won't blast on again when it comes back. Instead it "fades back up". I can see how on VZN that would suck though... No fix from me, just feeling your pain.

Yeah as a feature for music alone thatd be fine. However, when you can't hear half of what its telling you directions wise, it can be quite a problem. Especially when I'm in another unfamiliar city. But cheers for the sympathy :-D
