I am finally satisfied with my storm!!!

Well its been about 5 months since ive had my storm and I am finally at least some what satisfied with it. This device has a lot of potential, it is just the operating system thats holding it back, everyone knows that. Anyways after countless os updates, .148/5 hybrid from lyr is been good to me, deleted all my junk apps, turned off logging, turned off gps for now, turned down brightness. There is virtually no lag between going to portrait to landscape, the buttons can somewhat keep up with me (I realize im a fast typer) and now with the discovery of Opera Mini, my sites are loading up at blazing fast speeds (literally) and I am now happy with the functionality of the browser, which was my primary concern, otherwise why else have this big expensive 30$ data plan, at least for me, I don't use email that much. Texts and browser were big, with the old versions the typing lagged, took forever to turn to portrait. Now it is seamless. Seems to me my video playback is also better and my camera sped up a little bit. The media does need to be worked on, alot, to be on par with anything apples got, still takes forever to scroll through pictures, and playing music is still alot better on iphone, but as far as the browser and texting and email Im happy. I will now not persue a Tour, like my original intent was.

I hope some of you can take some inspiration out of this post, don't give up hope just yet. This is still a great device.

agree totally!. so a few glitches here and there, so what..my life would be dull if everthing was perfect....

i agree completely but im still going with the tour cause its always nice to have more than 1 blackberry around!!

I have to agree, it would be nice to have another BB to mess with. Thats the only reason I would get it. I would keep my storm and just get the Tour on my extra line to play around with.

dude what are you talking about? i have a storm and you know i love my storm cause youve been on the thread i started on why i think my storm is the best.. i didnt want to say the Fu*k so i said fugg. so sensitive know days WOW!!!

ok than. no big deal. Like I said, it doesnt bother me.
