Default going old school tomorrow

I have completely given up on the Storm and the crappy replacements they send out. I am reactivating my 8703e tomorrow. That thing just plain works, no reboots or other bs to deal with.

I don't care if anyone says I was doing it wrong or not. I was a supporter of the Storm and have stood by it for many months. My last two refurbs came in and both promptly stopped working withing 2 days. Both were loaded with .328 and had no 3rd party apps installed other than google maps(on the first one). Random reboots during calls, sms issues, and the frigging buttons fell off on the last one. This phone is a POS and I can't deal with it anymore. I have had it since day one and .65. It is so not worth the effort, I'm done. I'm going old school tomorrow and getting a callus on my thumb again.

Actually the storm does feel cheap compared to other Blackberrys. I guess its the whole .moving screen and cheap buttons

Well, I'm finally back to a nice reliable berry again. I forgot how much I missed the trackwheel. So far, not one reboot and it just plain works. My storm has a date with a .45acp coming up.

I'm happy with mine but just may go Storm II simply because of the moving screen/gap. I fear for its safety any time it is near water and I have lost 2 this way.

Well, no more old school for me. I got a s2 as a multi fru replacement on Saturday. S1 still has a date at the range though.

So far, not one freeze or reboot with the storm2. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and the 8703 on standby. Even though I only had it active for a few days, I was really happy with my good old berry. It did everything I need just fine.
