I have had 5 not 4 not 3 not 2 but FIVE replacement storms, for glitches, not software glitches physical hardware problems!
I'm going to take the date you wrote this into consideration, however even then (at that time) I enjoyed my BB Storm V1. I went through ONE BB Storm (due to hardware defect(s) and it was a BNIB phone. The fact you have had a history with BB's means NOTHING. You cannot compare dinosaurs to modern technology.

It is widely known Apple writes very good code.
Microsoft hasn't been able to meet/exceed Apple in this regard, although W7 is a better improved version of Vista, singling out the BB Storm shows much of your ignorance. The phone (like most phones) was rushed to market...
It was not properly tested, Yes.

MY BB Storm V1 runs very fast.
I have not noticed any lag, and everything loads quick.
For the BB Browser I use Opera 5, and I get full web pages about as fast as a Moto Droid.

I have many apps, and my Storm still runs fast.

And you remember that hate when you do a battery pull and you are waiting on an important phone call... And if you do love it, you are deep down inside a kid that needs the iphone, because any business man can agree with me a phone should work like a charm!

PSS- I am a kid on the inside because (ex.) what grown adult would have waited 12 hours in front of verizon in a suit(I had work in the morning).
1.) I don't need to flame you, your comments already delude any credibility you may have thought you had!!!
2.) I sleep well knowing I don't need to pull the battery, shake my Storm or anything you have experienced. My business has never suffered.
3.) I love my Storm's functionality, and I appreciate what it does, AND how reliably it does it!
I don't love any device out there no matter how reliable because I am not a tool. I don't need to "love" a device.
4.) I have associates that have an iphone. Which is why I love my Storm even more!

It's time to take your head out of your a$$, and realise people aren't to be labeled some character denigrating term simply because they do not conform to your asinine stereotypical bullsh!t.

It sounds like you are a 5 time loser because you attract defective equipment and suffice to say there are people like you who are always trying to iceskate uphill!!! And it's sad.

My Storm has ZERO dust.
The Screen does not wobble.
The only reboots I now instantiate are due to new application installations.

It could be I'm lucky, or it may be that I am not a pretentious dumkopf who needs a perfect phone? Yeah.

I'm one of those folks....got the phone about six months ago, no upgrade until the official 5.0 OS was recently released. Not one crash...camera works well, voice quality is fine, and great email service! I am very happy with my Storm and have no intention of replacing in the near future!

While i was on the streetcar riding home late last night, playing bubble defense 2, streaming dubstep.fm via Flycast, talking on MSN and Gtalk, (realizing that when you set the phone to the "vibrate only" profile, the incoming alerts don't pause your music ) I quickly found out just how much I love this phone.

The click screen typing, the seamless switching between apps, and most importantly; NO SLOWDOWN through the whole thing. For all the people who seem to have problems with it, man whatever hardware I have is a BREEZE. I couldn't help but smile as I carried on a few conversations and built up my mighty tower array, all while listening to the grimiest streamed beats the internets have to offer with no stutter whatsoever. Great times.

I'm going to blame the lack of qc on the replacements that are sent out. I activated my 7th storm Monday morning. I have folded up paper stuffed in behind the battery cover and the end button bent when it snagged on the OEM holster.

My 1st Storm was great until 7-8 months into it, and then the click stopped working and the dust started accumulating between then screen plates. Every one I have had since then has been absolute junk. The first replacement wouldn't even boot.

I used to stick up for this phone, and couldn't believe that anyone could have a reason for more than one replacement. That was then, this is now....
