Updating BB Storm OS that is flashed to Metro PCS

Basically I want to update the OS on my Blackberry Storm that is flashed to Metro PCS. My question is if I get my Storm updated will it mess up the flash process done so that my phone can operate with Metro PCS and how can I update my BB since I can't get the OTA update from Verizon with my phone being flashed?

not to sure about MetroPcs and there service books but you can update your OS by checking out the OS section.

the problem with that is I have a MAC so I'd either have to find a way to update it through the BB internet browser or something else

A MAC version of DM is coming soon, and a beta of it was leaked although I have heard the beta was not too good. HOWEVER I don't think you can update without messing up the flash. I would not risk it.

The flash you're talking about is just the CDMA radio programming. The OS update doesn't touch that on a Blackberry. You should be able to update the OS without issues, but you'll need DM.

stop being fooled by the ads and buy a PC. There's a reason why it's 90 % of the market...compatibilty. All due seriousness your gonna have a hard time upgrading on a mac DM or not. Find a friend with a PC and do it there. You will also be able to get alot more educated help from the people on here .

My phone is flashed to Pocket...done many os updates and downgrades a it still works...updating the os will not mess up the flash...

hi and thanks for the tips i made some progress but my storm now only get to the blackberry loading screen did i do something wrong wont go past that
