have it installed and everything works better. browser loads pages faster, accelerometer has much less lag, and even the typing seems to be spiffed up.

word mole, however, is screwed. it won't let me save games or quit the program entirely. so sad!

also, i seem to have lost the app-switching functionality that comes with holding down the bberry key. anyone else experiencing this?

I think it has a lot to do with the shape of ones face. and your right people hold there phone differently. Maybe everybody at RIM has big ears and the phone is inches away from there face so they didn't worry about it and everybody at Apple has smaller ears so they implemented the screen lock on the iPhone. LOL j/k

Just tried this while listening to an mp3 and sent myself an email. I am using the stock earbuds and my profile is set to normal. Was not able to reproduce.

What was your profile at and such? I will try and reproduce also.

I would try re-installing. Don't have any of those problems.

Do you have audio boost enabled? If not, please try.

Update: Same bug when audio boost turned off for me.

Another bug. On mine, if I turn it off by the power button, when I turn it back on, it gets stuck at the Verizon splash screen.
