Exclamation 9530/9500 .148/5.0.0.100[9000] Hybrid

9530/9500 .148/5.0.0.100[9000] Hybrid [More revisions to come as it is tested]

Always stay up to date with my latest work at:
BlackBerry Apps/Hybrids by lyricidal

(Boots with no errors, Browser works, calls work, apps work, seems fully functional)
DESPITE THAT, INSTALL AT YOUR OWN RISK / MAKE SURE YOU BACKUP ALL OF YOUR DATA
DM 5.0 IS NOT REQUIRED TO INSTALL
KEEP IN MIND THIS WAS MADE USING THE BOLD 9000 5.0.0.100 LEAK

How To Install Video: YouTube - How To Install Lyricidal's 148/5.0 Hybrid or HERE
Stable, take to work version:
Just the Java folder: http://www.theiexplorers.com/bb/hybr...0.100+.148.rar
9530 Installer (x86/32-bit): http://www.theiexplorers.com/bb/5.0Hybrid.exe
9530 Installer (x64/64-bit): http://www.theiexplorers.com/bb/5.0Hybrid(x64).exe
9530 Installer (.90 Radio Version): http://www.theiexplorers.com/bb/5.0Hybrid(.90).exe
NOTE: THIS .90 Version may cause random reboots and other errors - this version is for people that have issue with EDGE or want the color/keyboard from .90. I do not recommend it, but for those with EDGE issues, it should help.
9500 Installer (x86/32-bit): http://www.theiexplorers.com/bb/5.0Hybrid-9500.exe
9500 Installer (x64/64-bit): http://www.theiexplorers.com/bb/5.0Hybrid(x64)-9500.exe
Just the working 5.0 Files: http://www.theiexplorers.com/bb/5.0Files.rar
[5.0 Files included and working with this install: 85+]
Last updated: June 13/2009 @ 2:00AM EST

Platform/OS once installed: Platform .181 and OS version .148, but 5.0 is definitely there.
To check this: Go to Options > Advanced > Applications > BB Button > Modules. Scroll through and you should see files with 5.0.0.100 beside them.
(If you get just the Java, it will show .148 with whatever platform you are installing it over. This is why some are getting .148 with a different platform than 181 on your phone)

Latest file additions and changes:
June 13th @ 2:00 AM
- Added lots of .151 files, but still kept .148 as core (no transitions, so all themes working)

June 12th @ 6:00 PM
- Added 85+ 5.0.0.100 files

All that being said, install instructions below

Don't make things complicated for yourself: Simply change the install location of the hybrid to your most current OS install folder. Find which OS you're coming from and only follow those instrucitons
Install Instructions Page:

BE AWARE: NOT ALL THEMES WORK WITH .151
IT IS SUGGESTED TO SWITCH TO DEFAULT THEME WHEN INSTALLING THIS BETA

1. I would start by going to control panel and uninstalling the BlackBerry 4.7 device software
2. Then I would install the leaked/official 148 OS file
3. Download and unrar beta5v6.rar to a folder and it should give you 23 total items (a Java folder with 640 files in it and 22 other files)
4. Select all of these files including the java folder and right click and copy
5. Browse to the folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research in Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9530-v4.7.0.148_P4.0.0.181 and right click anywhere in that folder and do a paste
6. Overwrite all files
7. Launch C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research in Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9530-v4.7.0.148_P4.0.0.181\Shrink-A-OS.exe (you may need to right click on it and do run as administrator on Vista/Windows 7) and remove anything that you want taken off
8. Browse to this folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research in Motion\AppLoader and launch loader.exe.
9. If prompted to keep existing file system or downgrade go ahead and select downgrade
10. Highlight either BlackBerry 4.7 System Software or Core Applications then click on the details button then the modules tab. As you scroll down it will show the version currently installed on your phone and then the version that is available to install. You should see the 5.0 files in the available version column.
11. Install/restore your device and you should be good. you can check by going to Options -> Advanced Options -> Applications then highlight BlackBerry 4.7 Core Applications or System Software press the Blackberry (or menu) button and select modules. Scrolling down you should see the 5.0 files on your device now.

Thanks much! I'm installing right now.

Outside of some 5.0 stuff, is EVERYTHING else 148, or did some older (sometimes more stable) elements make it into this one?

pure .148/5.0 now that QL 1.5 works (9 files that were .132/141 have been updated)
let me know if there are any issues, and I'll see what earlier versions of whats giving you errors work like with it
I think it seems to be a bit quicker and responsive, but as I've said it a few posts, thats just my opinion

haha your going to be a crackberry genius tonight, from the looks of it. Congrats on helping so many of us storm users. I would have gotten rid of it 2 months ago if it wasn't for your awesome work.

Thanks L!

Also, If anyone is updating to this hybrid and has to use Notifylink, I had in the previous versions that I had to reinstall each time I updated the OS. Didn't used to until the QL problem occurred, so I'm hoping to possibly hear if it will be less time consuming to update.
