Default 9530 4.7.0.167 Findings & Fixes

Alright, we have another leak! Remember, no "Downloading Now" crap!

Positive things in Blue

Negative Things in Red

And PLEASE don't compare this to 5.0 OS's. It isn't and isn't meant to be. Let's just keep to the topic.

Coming from .151 on my latest refurbished unit... (lol)

Transitions seem to be on point, no random fades like in .151

First boot made me think I was starting up my tour. Holy long.
Booted with 40.9mb as compared to the 54.4 I got with .151. Both OSs were unshrunk.

No noticeable difference in speed, will post after running it a while longer

edit: Subsequent boots are actually very speedy, the first boot just seemed to hang. Batt pull #1, Booted with 49.8mb file free after restoring from backup.

Stability compared to older 4.7, especially .148, is considerably higher.

No they act the same if you look back at the findings from older leaks they are the same between the 9500 and 9530. And since .191 I can't see too many people caring other than people who use there camera 10 times a day. Its an amazing leak. After all the features it has improved I can't see going back to 4.7 unless you need to.

No way am I going to install any 5.0. I can't believe you guys can say how wonderful it is when the camera doesn't work, and I don't care if I use it only once a month I want the darn camera.

I'm sticking with 4.7 and I'll give .167 a shot.

Finally. I'm with hookbill. I'm not going to any 5.0 until it is totally and completely functional. If this fixed the streaming issue, that I'm sold on this OS.

On second thought, after reviewing the 9500 thread, it appears that themes cause issues on this build including loss of notifications and errors. I can't be without my themes.
