X1 zEdition - Free theme with source files

X1 zEdition is built upon the X1 theme by jaxjon (http://forums.crackberry.com/f131/x1...jaxjon-303537/). Both came out of an Open Source thread that was started a week ago. It currently has 5 Themes along with Source Files that you can download, tweak and contribute back to the thread. Only condition is you don't use any of the files provided for premium paid for themes.

Is it just one set 8 icons, or two sets?(screenshots show two sets, or are they just two different icon arrangements?)

I think he said in the other thread that it's two sets.. tapping the plus sign switches to the next set....... I think...

I run this one off and on. Its pretty nice. The animation is the only thing that could be better. I still switch back to it every now and then cause it is pretty.

Yep, press the + and 8 icons slide in from the left, press it again and they slide away and 8 slide in from the right. Keep pressing the + and it will toggle between the two sets. Press - to hide all the icons.

Just added the Provisioning and Setup Wizard icons provided by jaxjon to the theme

I downloaded the source files in the thread you linked and tried to compile it on the new 5.0 theme builder.

I did not open / alter the SVG file at all.

I opened the THM file and of course it prompted to locate the SVG file - which I pointed it too. Then it prompted that it was created in an older version of theme developer (expected) and I said yes.

I then ran the theme in the simulator (9500 5.0.0.252) and it looked and worked fine.

I then exported it to the phone directly and when I activated it - nothing on the Home screen was correct. None of the images or the 2 floating docks are there.

At no time did I get any other errors or messages.

ETA: I also tried Exporting & Installing thru Desktop Manager with the same results.

I would love to get this working and then try some tweaks of my own so any help / suggestions you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
