Default new theme CopperBerry

***update***

Folks, I'm really sorry but a few days ago I received some news which sort of require me to reverse my direction in life! It entails taking a really difficult exam in two months and I now need all the time I can to study for it. So since I originally posted this post I've only made some slight progress but the theme is not that close to being complete. Instead of releasing a bad beta, or not releasing anything at all I thought I would instead share my theme files (including icons, PSD, etc) so if anyone likes the direction where this was headed they can pick it up. Most of the icons are done - I've simply been testing different focus icons and just placement / font / colors

You can grab it here:

http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/18261/copper_incomplete.zip

I've also made theme files available for both the Doodle and the PSberry themes so check my sig for those threads if you are interested in downloading and checking them out.

Again, I'm really sorry I kind of have to back out of this, but it must be done. I do hope someone picks up where I left off though =)

---------------

Just a preview image for now. Hopefully finish all the icons and get the OTA up by tonight after work.

In the meantime if you like this screen I'd love some feedback! Specifically for: what would you like the focused icon to look like. I've experimented with a few options and am not 100% happy with any of them.

Also, font/color suggestions would be helpful too.

I think it's hot. If you had scrolling menu buttons that would be nice and maybe the sand filling into the buttons would be interesting.

Text and/or focus icon(s) should be white>heather grey on that background to stand out.

That is nice. I like the icons. You make those yourself?

I like it - understated, elegant and a nice art deco feel.

I'm liking this one. Any chance of a non-today version?

I like this...can you make it for the curve?
I really like the brown. The focus on icons should be have a border to emphasize. Maybe dark brown or the creme color you have for the battery indicator.

very nice, for the focus icon maybe an aged copper look... like the green or green /black aged look.

Anyway great job so far!
