Default First Theme - MyOwn v1

Changes made and uploaded.

Well I created a theme solely for my use the other night and figured I could put it up on here in case any one out there may want to use it.

I must say that I am not creative at all and merely created this to tailor directly to my needs. I don't like the hidden themes because I REALLY need my calendar to show all the time or I will forget what I have to do.

As far as the functionality goes the top four icons are fixed and bottom four can be customized. The calendar never goes away.

Anyway here are the OTA Links:

MyOwn v1.0 jamesdeer.net/sites/jamesdeer.net/files/com_plazmic_theme_MyOwn.jad
MyOwn v1.1 jamesdeer.net/sites/jamesdeer.net/files/com_plazmic_theme_MyOwn_v_1_1.jad
MyOwn v1.2 jamesdeer.net/sites/jamesdeer.net/files/com_plazmic_theme_MyOwn_v_1_2.jad

I don't have a high enough post count so I can't put links here.

Added MyOwn v1.1 and v1.2

Changes:
MyOwn v1.1 - Bottom icons bounce when you focus on them.

MyOwn v1.2 - Same as v1.1 but all eight icons are customizable.

Thanks, for the compliment. I really wish I was more creative and had a better handle of the Plazmic Theme Builder.

I was thinking about going back and using the Precision Zen hoping my phone would run quicker. I'm gonna use this theme though, with its small memory footprint. Good job!

I have read that using the Zen theme will make your phone run better but was not sure if that was true. I have been using the theme for a little bit and the device seems, to me at least, a bit snappier. I am also using the 114/113 hybrid.

A really nice looking theme. Not so far "out there" like a lot of others but provides some needed functionality. I would a couple of suggestions.

1 - Leave the icon names under the icons. It's especially helpful if you use something like Weatherbug

2 - Make both rows of icons customizable

3 - Add a spot on the top for Weatherbug (may not be room though)

4 - Make it so clicking on the date/time in the upper left brings up the Alarm Clock app (allowing you to not have to use the icon on your home screen)

5 - Make it so clicking in the upper right brings up the Connections app

6 - Include the time in the appt on the calendar

All in all, a really nice theme. I'm surprised more people don't create Today themes. There's lots of hidden today themes but I have yet to find a great Today theme that just shows the calendar. Yours is the closest so far.

@MetsFan_VI,
Number 2 on your list has been fixed. I got to thinking about it and realized that not everyone uses the same shortcuts that I do. As far as the hidden themes go I too have not been able to find one I like and put simply I just want something that is functional not so much flashy.

I will work on the other requests but to be honest I am not sure I know how to do some of them. The good thing is that I am always up for some learning.

Thanks for your input!

JD

Works for me without more bells and whistles. Thanks again JD.

No problem. I realize everyone probably wants something a little different in a theme. Do what makes you happy, not me.
