HTC Bold Crossbar Edition Theme by ElyCruz
Over the past 48 hours I have had the pleasure of getting my hands on the early release of the HTC Bold (Fuze) theme from themer extraordinaire ElyCruz. We Blackberry users are an odd bunch, we love our devices and are addicted to them, but have an unhealthy obsession of making them look like the other hot phones on the market. I am totally guilty of this as an owner of themes that make my Bold look like an iPhone, Android Phone and now an HTC Fuze.
The main home screen of the device consists of a fixed six icon dock of: Browser, Messages, Contacts, SMS/MMS, Media and Calendar. I know many of you are saying fixed icons – ugghh! But when you view the beautiful animation that you get on the home screen when you migrate from Icon to Icon on the fixed dock of the most used applications on the Blackberry you will see why this is not an issue.
Main Home Screen with Browser Selected is the first picture below. Other screens are shown with all the different fixed icons shown.
There is a “Green Dot” that follows your navigation from Icon to Icon and the big Icon in the middles of the screen slides in/out as you navigate. You can see the YouTube Video put together by the developer at:

The Messages, SMS/MMS and Calendar provide a today plus preview feature. I am showing this below with the calendar with some of my personal info blocked out in the sixth picture attached.
In addition to the six fixed icons, the first six icons on your main 18 icon screen show up when you scroll across the bottom dock, giving you a total of 12 icons available for the user on their home screen. A picture of this is below with my six icons of Pocket Day, BIS Email1, Blackberry Messenger, BIS Email2, YouMail and TeleNav. You can choose your own. This is the last picture attached.
One of the coolest features of this new theme is its integration with QuickLaunch. The Start button at the top left of the theme provides access to QuickLaunch, giving the user quick access to most any area of their blackberry. A picture of the QL integration is shown below with the start menu highlighted and the QL menu active. The QL team should be giving ElyCruz a cutback on all the new sales they get to integrate with this theme.
Other features of the theme are the profile icon on the main screen. I nicely done clock, custom notification icons, and authentic Fuze icon styling throughout the theme. With the cost of most themes in the market ElyCruz has priced this very reasonably at $3.99 at the CrackBerry store at:

If you ask a question you can get it answered by the developer or some of the beta testers.
I wholeheartedly believe this is the most functional and unique theme I have ever had my hands on and the bar has been set very high for the other developers!
