Default Invisible Shield review - Storm

Hola,

Recieved an invisible shield by ZAGG (ZAGG | invisibleSHIELD | iPhone, iPod Cases, Screen Protectors, Covers, Shields, Skins, Invisible Shield) and applied it earlier tonight about an hour ago. I must say it was quite easy and the instructions are very simple. As long as you keep the piece of plastic (or w/e its made out of) wet with the solution they give you, its very easy to lay down and move around to get it in the exact spot you want. It is a little time consuming but nothing extraordinary.. Added a glossy finish to it, full body protection, couldn't be happier.

Definitely recommending this to anyone thinking about a full-body protection.

ps. i have/had no problems with the solution getting under the screen, i just layed the plastic protector and patted it down with a paper towel as it dried for a couple minutes.

I'll try to get some pictures up tomorrow.

I'm glad it all worked for you! have you noticed it any harder to scroll with your finger due to the sticky texture? I had an IS on my LG dare and I hated it because I couldn't slide on the screen like I used to...

Any ways, congrats on a good install

Nope it hasn't had an effect on my scrolling. I mean, of course my thumb will stick a little more because of it on the screen, but nothing major whatsoever. The screen is 100% responsive.

Just wait, tomorrow you'll see that the skin looks even BETTER than now. It takes up to 24 hours for it to "settle in" and get rid of some smaller bubbles. Enjoy!

Allot of people around here are going for PhantomSkinz, it covers more of the phone and is crystal clear. I ordered it for my Storm and my wifes Voyager. I haven't gotten my Storm yet, but I put it on hers and it came out really good, kinda proud of myself actually.

This is what I've read.

All diff protectors are all pretty much the same. Not one is extremely different.

Invisible shield: thicker more durable has orange peel.

BSE: best price for similar protection. Has orange peel.

Ghost armor(the one I have) very little orange peel. Semi thick

Phantom skins crystal clear and thinnest of the others.

I think your definitions of orange peel is wrong. Glossy finish is not anything like orange peel. Painters and autobody people call it orange peel because the texture looks like an orange and not a glossy smooth texture.
