I have the black one and no chipping has occurred, a little cracking but they give a free replacement!

I've been using this case for about 2 months now. I've never dropped the phone or had any major dings on it - I pretty much baby my 8900. I've probably only taken the case off 2 or 3 times, just to clean the phone. The other day, I noticed some little cracks on the bottom left hand corner and on the top left hand corner of the case. I only paid $15 for the case and really love the screen protector that came with it, but I'm a little disappointed with how easily this thing cracked!

Are you sure? I have my 8900 with the incipio on, in the stock 8330 vinyl case, and it goes to sleep when i slide it in?
Or is there something im missing about "holster settings"? I'm a bb newbie.

I love this case for several of the reasons listed in this thread. But one thing that I am disappointed about is the unease of putting it on and off. As we all no, battery pulls are inevitable, even with quickpull, a battery pull is always the best thing to do. Well, after putting this case on and off, my "chrome" bezel has started to peel in many places. I don't have a skin to protect it, which I regret, but still, very disappointed

my microusb chargers don't fit as well now, very loose because of the case gets in the way. is that what everyone else has experienced, or is that a defect in mine?

wow...just got mine yesterday and I'm wondering if I shouldn't have read this thread more thoroughly. I took my full body BSE off to use this (I left the screen and the top piece on) but now I'm worried about cracking. does anyone have photos of their cracked cases?

ah well was gonna get a new one anyway because of the cracking..
