Hmm. I may be wrong, but isn't building up resilience to germs the best cure? I don't freak about germs at all, I don't take medicine (even advil), I wash my hands with regular soap, and so on. The most I get sick per year is once, and that's a LIGHT cold. The best offense is a good defense - you know.. (btw for any doctors - if i'm totally wrong then don't hesitate to mention - I'm just stating my personal experience)

I'm going to school to become an MA, and we just learned how to do agar platting (grow bacteria collected from a swab in an incubator) I decided to swab my phone and I was actually surprised because almost nothing grew, just a couple small spots. And I've never cleaned my phone since I bought it in Jan. So your phones may not be as nasty *** you think. Especially if you was your hands often. But then again everyone is diff.

News flash people: Germs are everywhere. Think about the objects you touch that other people touch...ATMs, doorknobs...etc

The best defense is to wash YOUR HANDS, and if you don't...then keep your hands out of your nose and mouth.

I also wonder if this FIRST post is an advertisement to buy this product? hmmmmmm

I was wondering if i was the only one with some common sense on here. Germs are everywhere and on everything, in fact, there are probably billions on you right now, some are bad and some are good, so don't be to quick to rub yourself with clorox wipes.

Rather than use something wet and possibly void your warranty, why don't you just irradiate your phone with gamma irradiation which is a perfectly effective mean of sterilization. As a matter of fact it used sterilize certain types of medical equipment and even food in some places.

Have you ever considered the effect of all those rancid oils and resident bacteria from your face on your phone? That's what I'm really worried about.

I agree with the others who say that there are germs everywhere, good and bad. Unless you are going to use a wipe for eveything that you touch, I don't think its extremely neccessary for my cell. Of course I clean my phone from time to time, but I'm not going to buy wipes off of the internet.

Yes they did. My girlfriend has a Nextel Motorola I880, and it has some kind of anti-microbial-paint or something. I use wet wipes on my storm.

Very funny but I'm a lost cause! I keep hand sanitizer everywhere and carry a travel size bottle of Lysol around. My family/coworkers make fun of me but I hate getting sick. lol!

In a lab course, and they all have something like this, but we swabbed a number of things. And grew the samples on agar. It was very eye opening, the samples from counters and toilets didn't grow much at all, but the swabs from human skin, ear wax and chapstick grew hundreds and hundreds of colonies of bacteria. It seems we aren't as clean as we think we are!

It was pretty astounding...

If a person has to worry about bacteria on their cell phone, then maybe they shouldn't be using one......... I would be more worried about the germs that are on the door handle of public bathrooms if I were you!
