Default Cell phones and germs

Recently news came out about a study in Turkey in local hospitals stating that 95% of doctors and nurses cell phones had at least one bacteria. This story has been picked up all over the Internet the last 5 days!

A great remedy is to clean your cell phone a few times daily. I have found a product that works well! It is called Wireless Wipes. The wipes seem to dry quicker than the average wipe and it comes in a green tea cucumber smell. Really good! You can find them on the web.
I think if you are worried about getting sick or a rash, try them!

I've managed to make myself disgusted now thinking about holding the phone to my face and imagining what all's growing on the screen and keyboard as it touches my face.

I looked into the cell phone wipes when cb did a review on the blog and found that they were to expensive for my taste I think like 2 bucks each or something for as much as I clean my phone (everyday) that would be an expensive habit I use eyeglass cleaner wipes from lens crafters they are 10 bucks for 60 and I also wear glasses so win win I have also used clorex wipes before but they are very moist so I only use them for the screen protector that I have on my phone

Just be careful that you don't force liquids into your devices.

Overuse of certain cleaners is contributing to the profligation of meaner bugs, so be careful how you clean.

With as many places as we can pick up germs...
grocery carts, phones at the office, door knobs...
I'm not really worried about germs on my phone. I'm the only one that uses it, and when not in use it's in the case in my pocket.
Now if we're talking just keeping my BB pretty, that's a WHOLE different story!

I am a surgeon and have had a longstanding interest in surgical infectious disease. There are millions of bacteria, viruses and "germs" are everywhere. You cannot sterilize your skin, your environment much less you phone, so get over it. The mere presence of an organism or pathogen does not equal disease. Rather than efforts to disinfect your phone I suggest spending your time and money to get some really good therapy for your Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
