Red face change from the pearl 8130 to the Curve 8900? any suggestions either way?

Should I change from my pearl 8130 to the curve 8900 can anyone tell me what they feel about their curve 8900? Is there a change in the formats? Speed? I have an upgrade coming from verizon, and I have had my pearl over 3 years with little problems...can anyone help me decide...or give me any comments...thanx peeps!

The Curve 8900 isn't on Verizon. You would have to go to AT&T or T-Mobile. Verizon is getting the Blackberry Tour, a 'hybrid' of many devices.

I made this very upgrade last week (it was a choice between the Curve and the Bold - I went Curve due to it being smaller and having a better camera - 3G isn't that important as Edge coverage seems to be plenty fast enough). I have to say that my Curve felt like a massive improvement over my Pearl almost immediately - I have not found a single thing that the Curve doesn't improve over the Pearl yet.

From the UK, on Orange.

The 8900 isn't available on VZW... yet. (there has been some rumors). I'd wait for the 9630. Should be soon. It's pretty sweet. I wouldn't go to the 8300 curve just because it wouldn't be much of an upgrade for you. And its getting a little outdated

Oh-yeah!!!

More 8900 users, too bad my 8900 looks better, ha-haaa!
No doubt the 8900 is an upgrade to the pearl, heck you
Should experience the Qwerty keyboard on any modeled curve.
Its so made typing so much easier than suretype.

Now is a great time to get a BB, as newer phones get released,
as discounted prices are great deals.

For a Verizon user I would get the 9630 they look similar anyway and its definitely an upgrade over the Pearl.
