sym key as hotkey?

Is it possible to use the 'sym' key as a hotkey action in composer?

I realize there isn't a sym key on my keyboard, but perhaps edting the svg directly and adding the value? If so, what is the value for 'sym'?

Anyone have an answer for this? Would love to be able to add a shortcut for this key.
