LOL!! I think you mean the simulator. Anyways, this has been answered in other posts, but I'll let you know here anyways.

1) Make sure you've downloaded the simulator from RIM. You can go to their website (Smartphones, Cell Phones & Smart Phones at Blackberry.com), you'll have to fill out a form with some personal information, but the simulator is still free. You'll have to select which BB model you'll want to download from them as well.

2) After you've downloaded the simulator file from RIM, install it.

3) Make sure you've exported your theme from Theme Builder.

4) Then run the simulator from your start menu in windows.

5) When in the simulator program click on File and then load the Java Program. From there, select ALL the .cod files and then click open.

6) Restart the simulator. When it boots back up, select your theme from the options/themes.

Sometimes another restart is necessary for it to load the theme properly, but not in all cases.

Hope this helped.

That is odd. I tried to do what was said by jaylee, but when I hit the simulate button in Plazmic the storm simulator pops up but has the 507 error.

If I launch the simulator alone it launches fine. I then export the theme and then load it with the load java program.

Is that how it should be done?

Sorry for the newbie questions. Just downloaded everything today and spent the better part of the day messing around with the programs.

i can't even get the simulator to start up at all, every time i try it just tells me i have to have atleast one simulator installed. I downloaded the one for the 8310 and its in the same folder there, should it be somewhere else or whats going on?

I get mine to work, but: it is ALWAYS a double pump. Fire up Simulator, upper left to fetch whatever, Options/Theme, Precision Zen, Options/Theme New Theme. My changes NEVER show at this point. Got to dismiss Simulator and evoke a second time to see my changes. Why, Why, Why ?

yea thats a plazmic 4.7 bug alright, just create a folder titled `test` and export the .alx to that folder, then leave the simulator open, and load themes at will

Okay, I wonder if this is my issue as well. When I go into the Plazmic options it tells me there's no simulators installed (couldn't find the stimulator tab ) but I have downloaded and installed a 4.5 8330 simulator from RIM. I've tried it on 3 different machines with the same results. On two of them BB Desktop 4.6 is installed, on the other, it is not. 2 Vista machines, 1 XP.

I can't seem to find any listing of additional software beyond Plazmic and the simulator that's needed for it to work. Thanks!
