How do I edit a theme?

I have a few themes that I downloaded from here, they are in .alx format and I was wondering how I could load them onto Plazmic and edit them.

You can't. When under construction they are saved as theme files. Once complete, they are exported to either .alx or .jad files for the end user. They can't be modified at that point.
