Default MSN messenger on Telus for free

Anyone know of any FREE applications for MSN Messenger on Telus?

-Windows Live doesn't work since it's Bell Sympatico's (unless you pay $5/per month)
-I tried Ebuddy but I find it inconvenient
-logging into msn.com via blackberry browser works, but it sucks, too
-I don't use it enough to warrant buying the jivetalk application

Anyone care to comment? Thanks!

I'm with Bell and to be honest, they say you have to pay such and such every month to use WLM but they never bill me and they keep on extended the offer of waiving the fee until x month. Never been charged once since I've downloaded and used WLM (started when the 8830 first arrived)

as long as you have unlimited data plan then it is "free" ( since it still use your data plan), if you don't have unlimited data plan, then you have to monitor your data usage.

I had gone down several routes here. Tried the eBuddy route, tried webmessenger, tried EQO, they were all serviceable, but then i tried the trial of jivetalk, and after a few hours of playing around with it, I bought the full license. It is definately the best of all the messaging programs out there, according to me anyways.

will this work with the telus $15 a month deal they have for email and messenger? it says in the underlying that messanger app useage is excluded with a bb in the plan, however, in the $45 a month plan, it says unlimited data not included with bb in the little bottom notes but it is. :S
