I think the best Twitter app is Social Scope, but since you have to wait for an invite. I think the 2nd runner up is Uber Twitter

I use UberTwitter - its really slick. SocialScope is good to from what ive heard, but like mentioned, its invite only.

Socialscope is the best but if you can't get in, then UberTwitter or TweetGenius. TweetGenius costs like 5 bucks or so but it has a nice UI and features.

Ubertwitter actually has me hooked on Twitter. It's been fast and reliable and has taught me how to use twitter. It's free so I recommend giving it a shot!
