I know this is a iphone only pics [not trying to start a flame war i have nothing against the iphone] but since the 8900 was *mentioned* had to through up a pic, sorry that its type dark but the 8900 not that bad...

the images was downsized to 640X480 and the other 480x640

thanks everyone

i'm a photographer so i see the shot before i shoot it

its not the camera, its always the person shooting with the camera

it is truly one great phone camera though. shooting video is quite amazing as well.

Not related to the new 3Gs, but since were on camera quality, my old LG Dare wasn't to shabby, i thought it was better than any BB out there, after seeing these pics off the 3Gs i was blown away.

Great pics but where's all the vids? Does the quality of the 3gs come even close to a camcorder? Same ballpark, maybe?

Not mine but the link below is a 3gs video uploaded after transferring onto a computer. On the same channel is the lesser quality version of the same video that you get when you use the upload to youtube feature. Both look great, not much difference, the first has the HQ mode working though.
