I have just completed the load. I was not able to successfully load .174, it gave a fatal error when I tried, but .199 loaded the first time.

So far the download and istallation has been smooth. During the upgrade, AOL IM and Google Talk showed up twice is the list with the same version. I left 1 checked and 1 unchecked.

Load was successful. When it completed it ran through the activation process. Hopefully this will improve battery life, and UMA.

All these leaks are making my head spin I'm still using .133 lol. And I was saying to myself maybe I should upgrade to .174 but what a great job to RIM for these updates.

    Just a curious question,

Why does RIM make new beta OS before releasing official versions of the other ones?

Yeah, me too! In my .174 the handoffs were shaky at best.

Would be curious to know if the textbox input issue is fixed ... finally!

Just finished downloading, won't be able to install till I get off work. Bummer!

RIM is constantly improving the OS's and releasing them to carriers. It is the carrier's decision to release an OS as official.

That's funny how many of you complain about UMA problems. I have NEVER had a single problem with my UMA and I have been using it since the first day T-Mo released the 8320. I posted several options in this discussion about how you may fix your problems.

I hope this helps because these are my settings and they have proven flawless with UMA and connection / reception / handoffs etc....
