Credit goes out to Raptor464 for the idea..as he achieved this a few days before.
All apps that worked in .464 should work here...I've got 10 fairly popular apps installed presently and still near 40MB. What I also noticed was that the trackball responsiveness has increased , along with better clarity in music apps such as Pandora.
I'd say it's worth the effort..any increase in effectiveness is good.

- Yup, its a fairly simple hybrid to build. Its quite solid too.
Really all you need to do is install 9000/5.0.0.464 to your PC. Install 9100/5.0.0.483 to your PC. Copy the Java directory from your 9000/5.0.0.464 installation and name it Java_Backup. Then open the Java directory from the 9100/5.0.0.483 installation, select all modules, and copy. Then open the Java directory (not Java_Backup) from the 9000/5.0.0.464 installation and paste the modules, overwriting all. Open loader.exe and install the 9000/5.0.0.483/5.0.0.464 files to your device. IF you need to roll back to 5.0.0.464, delete the Java directory in your 9000/5.0.0.464 installation and then rename the Java_Backup directory to Java. Run loader.exe and it will ask you if you want to downgrade, continue with the downgrade and you will end up back with 9000/5.0.0.464.02-16-10 08:12 AMLike 0 -
