I have noticed the 'search' function in the browser is missing on .228.
I do have more memory but the browser does take longer to render images. I think I will go back to 214 which was solid for me.

228 loaded on my bold now. noticed battery meter was indicating 1 bar now instead of 3. Maybe the battery indicator is more accurate now? Hope so.
Will use today as normal. I always load etrade, wjs reader and instango most of the day. Very few calls made, I avg 5 mins a day (no social life, sad). About 5 txts per day for work. I also turn off wifi since I found 3g very good for my stuff. Battery usually lasts about 4-5hrs on its own like this. But when I plug it in from time to time at work, it lasts till the next day. Turning off wifi really extended the battery for me. With wifi on, the battery is always way down by lunch time, or 2-3hrs on.
Another thing I noticed was the wallpaper went back to my custom pic on reboot. Someone else said it defaulted back to theme pic.

| Your experience sounds exactly like mine when I tried Instango and Beejive. For some reason, the third-party IM clients are murder on battery life. Try deleting Instango for a couple of days--I bet you get 18 hours of good use or more out of the battery.
I really wanted to use Instango, but I have found the Gtalk and AIM clients are 10 times better on battery life.

So far...
1. Thumbnails open slooooooooowly...much slower than .216
2. Browser does seem to load pages slower...but might be just me
I have .216 loaded and ready on my PC in case the "reboots" start...

this OS doesn't hold onto the 3G signal as well as .219.....
at my office i am in a pretty strong 3G area. but if i go into an inner part of the building it reverts to EDGE, but never goes back to 3G unless i leave and stay on the road for a few minutes.
.219 handled type of situation MUCH MUCH better. thinking of going back right now... no significant improvements whatsoever that i can tell thus far.
