BlackBerry Storm 9530 owners, you're in luck as well. The same OS, 5.0.0.1041 has leaked for your device. Again, it's a leaked OS so be sure to back up your data before loading it up. Also, be sure to drop some comments here or in the CrackBerry forums about what, if anything is new within the OS itself so that others may know. Enjoy folks, this one has been a while coming.

NIS 2011 didn't have an issue with the download.

I was able to dl it ok also. I have not installed it yet, but it looks to be good.

Try this link and then get it from about middle of the page. You will see a check mark followed by Berry CN.com and the OS name. The file should be slightly over 137mb in size.

I know we're discussing how to download the OS, but has anyone else tried it out? I'm curious to get it. I'm tired of .328 and how slow it is.

First attempt At install Loader kept saying it did not have software for my phone. Moving to a different PC and retrying. My Storm is on error 507 waiting for an OS. LOL

I have it installed and it seems to work well so far. Memory, after a quickpull, just slightly less than the 973 hybrid I was using.

Had to get Diner and a few other things. Downloading this to new PC and running off that seems to have worked. Will post some findings later one.

This is good, at least until I get the screen and can set up the 9550 I got.

Don't notice anything new compared to 973. Memory is the same and all my apps seem to work fine. Too early to tell on the battery.

I downloaded this about a half hour ago. I used shrink a OS to removed unwanted stuff. I wad at 16.2 before and I'm at 18.4 now. Been there for a half hour now. No other findings yet.
