Wow, didn't think of these will be all coming tonight! Thanks a lot! Haven't seen 8700 beta for long time, hopefully the hourglass problem is gone now.

No. You will not be able to tell any difference at all.

Make sure you follow these steps:

1. Download desired OS to your PC
2. Install/run OS to PC
3. Delete vendor.xml file. It's located in c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader if the OS is not from your carrier.
4. Connect BB to Desktop Manager and it should prompt the upgrade. If not click app loader and that should initialize it.
5. Do not unplug BB during the process. It will take around 30-60 minutes to complete upgrade.

I'm updating my work berry now. Only problem is that I am without email until I hook it up to my work computer to get the enterprise activation back.

Easiest thing to do is download CrackMem from Pete6. It will do all the work for you. Ensure you check the box to remove the vendor file.

Leave the battery out when you start the upgrade process. Once it has started and is erasing apps, you can put the battery back in.
